Why it exists

Pros charge around $200 a head to clean a single split system. Get a few units done around the house and quotes of $300 to $1,000 are common. This bundle is built for the household with more than one unit: buy the tools once, and use the kit again next season.

The clean itself takes about 20 minutes a unit. No power tools, no tradie, no spray gear. Cut across the sealed nipple, open the front of the unit, take the filter out, sit the solution and diffuser to work, close it back up.

Split system coils collect dust, oil and biofilm that a filter rinse never reaches. That is what causes the musty smell when the unit kicks back on after sitting idle.
